Classic Books

Thanks to all my friends who responded to my inquiry into meaningful and life-changing classic books. I have already read a few of the selections, and I wholeheartedly agree with many of your choices (To Kill a Mockingbird is an all-time favorite!)

I perused the selections and have decided to read the following books this school year.

The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky
Friday Night Lights by H.G. Bissinger
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce
The Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger
Catch-22 by Joseph Heller
East of Eden by John Steinbeck
The Lord of the Ringss by JRR Tolkein
For Whom the Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemingway
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
