You guys, IVF is like SO much fun! Really--the medicines were not bad at all. Until this morning, I was doing 3-4 injections a day. Only one of them itched. One stung a little and I only had a "bleeder" about 1 out of every 5 shots. It's the little things.
Over the past four days, I've had three ultrasounds and blood taken for the purpose of divining my hormones. I lie back on the exam table and play Rorschach games with the ultrasound images of my ovarian follicles. I've seen an alien, the guy from Edward Munch's "The Scream," Donald Duck and Strong Bad. Thankfully, there are lots of them and the doctor and nurses are pleased with what they have seen.

So Sunday night I found out last night that I will take my trigger shot at 7:30 PM, which means my retrieval is Tuesday at 7 AM. I think the only thing I get to wear during the whole thing will be these awesome, specifically-designed socks that my amazing sister Erin made for me.
Thank you to anyone and everyone who has said a prayer or a kind word to us over the past few weeks. We still have a long way to go, so keep on praying. Love you. :-)
